More Than a Conqueror
A Day 11 devotional on standing in Christ's victory even when life feels heavy and uncertain.
Today's Reflection
Some seasons feel very heavy, like you are pushing a cargo truck alone.
Outwardly, things may still look fine. People may not even notice. But internally, you are breaking down mentally and you may not have the words for it.
In moments like that, "more than a conqueror" can feel far away. Almost like a nice phrase that belongs to stronger people. People who have it all together.
But Scripture says, "in all these things." All, and not some.
I love how the scripture is intentional with words because they carry weight. That means the heaviness does not disqualify you. The struggle does not cancel the truth. The fact that it feels like a fight does not mean you are losing.
Because being more than a conqueror is not about how strong you feel. It is about who is holding you.
The One who sustains you even when your strength feels small. The One who keeps you from falling apart, even when life wants to.
So when the weight shows up again, let this be louder: you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you.
Prayer
Father, in moments where life feels heavier than expected, remind me of who I am in You. Help me to hold on to Your truth, even when my feelings say otherwise. Strengthen me, keep me, and anchor me in Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.
